Opening the Psoas: A Continuum Approach Go Within your Core and Be Inspired from Within

The Psoas Muscle is the deepest core muscle and is vital to our well-being. Basically a hip flexor, it does provide support for the organs and viscera. When the psoas is tight or short, it contributes to back pain, sciatia nerve problems, and reinforces fear patterns. In this workshop we will explore the Psoas through very simple non-linear fluid movement, vibrational frequency of sound, and deep listening to reawaken and revitalize your primal core.

An offering of a practice based on Mindfulness (intentional focused awareness), continuum movement and inquiry where we will slow down and Pause from the busy-ness of life.

Monthly Classes to Slow Down and Re-Awaken Presence:
Life in the fast lane takes its Toll.

Come and give yourself a gift of self-care. Spend this time immersing yourself in nurturing activities to replenish your soul, increase joy, and ease your stress. We will pause, slow down, let go, rest into the slow rhythm of nature, release what is tight and expand what has been contracted. Increase your potential for movement, and the ability to meet daily challenges of being human with a sense of ease and grace.

What will we do: we will use breath, the vibration of sound, micro-movements and attending in deep silence embracing the river of sensations AS IS. Allowing you to become Fully Alive, Fully Awake and Fully Human.

Yoga for the Nervous System

 This is the perfect way to prepare for the holidays.  This event is the perfect anti-dote for the body and fragmented lives we live especially during the holiday season. This is an invitation for "non-doing" as we return to the body and take refuge in it. We will relax deeply with blankets and props releasing layers of stored tension and stress bringing the body and mind into stillness and calm. Rejuvenate yourself in this amazing workshop. No downward dogs, no sweat. Come and treat yourself to an unforgettable experience of integration, relaxation and peace that stays with you even after the session is finished. 
Suitable for anyone, regardless of experience or physical limitations.

Cancellation Policy
Five business days are required prior to the beginning of the session to withdraw from registered classes.
A $20 administration fee will be charged.
