Finding Ground and Grace in Difficult Times with Rebecca Lawson

Rebecca Lawson a Calgary Continuum Movement Workshop Leader

How do we stay grounded, with the solidarity and support of the earth, while moving with spacious fluidity? How do we open our hearts and our minds with sensitivity and compassion in times of turmoil, fear, and anger? The practice of deep listening and caring for both body and psyche is necessary to help liberate and focus the energy needed for staying grounded while moving with breathable grace and open heart.

In this continuum workshop, using sound, breath, and micro-movement, we will specifically explore the pelvis and the heart/lungs. By increasing the kaleidoscope of fluid expression in our tissues, habitual patterns of fears and anxiety begin to dissolve. Subsequently, we reunite with the healing power of gravity that connects us with the earth’s natural state of solidarity. We return to a more peaceful nervous system and are free to breathe and move. Join us as we cross into the mysteries to evoke our deepest, truest, self.

This workshop is suited to all body types and levels of fitness. No prior movement experience is necessary.
